Gig Review: Riscas
Okay, I think I’ve done it. I think I’ve found the next big band for Birmingham's Music Talent. They’re called Riscas, a four-piece comprised of vocals and bass from George, guitarist from Epriham and Tom and drumming from Dan who are all from the lovely local area of Brum.
As you may have already heard of Panic Like Tom, Tom needs to learn to chill - but last night there was no nerves or panicking to be seen, the boys kicked off their supporting set for Sam Fender with their popular Panic song and ended with Talk Your Mind. Now, I'm definitely talking my mind - but these lads are certainly doing well after being played on BBC Introducing and winning a competition to play at the Cavern Club. I see big things for these boys, and I certainly hope they come round quite soon. They aren't afraid to let loose on stage and very much enjoy doing what they do; creating and performing great music to crowds of people.
